CHEF: Nicky Gernishuys
Joined Spring 2014
Nicky began her career in London as a chef before working in a private villa in St. Tropez. Whilst here she found out about the yachting industry and decided that the lifestyle appealed. Nicky’s best experience so far has been walking up in the morning in a deserted anchorage and feeling like something out of Robinson Crusoe!
Cooking is Nicky’s passion and she loves to find new and exciting dishes to experiment with, trying out new ingredients, mixing and matching different flavours. She believes that presentation of the meal, hospitality of the highest calibre and good service are the most crucial aspects to a fantastic dining experience.

MATE/DECKHAND: Millie Burston - Australian
Joined Spring 2019
Millie’s first experience in the yachting industry was on board the classic Feadship M/Y Heavenly Daze as deck/stew. She immediately took to the diverse intensity of the position, that gave her the flexibility of interior /exterior tasks and all the while becoming a strong team- player. She literally took the experience accrued during this busy first season and moved forward building skills in both areas. Transitioning easily between stewardess and deck roles is something Millie has relished doing for several years now.
Millie is enthusiastic, and focused when challenges are put her way and she finds solace in her favorite hobby, yoga which, as a certified instructor she is never short of a few students.
