SEAHOME (2016)

10 guests, 5 Showers, 5 Wash Basins
Sailing vessel Seahome is a 2016 Lagoon 620 catamaran, featuring Lagoon's stylish upgraded Essence decor. She is spacious and elegantly appointed with a sprawling interior that features luxurious leather accents throughout. Seahome hosts up to 10 guests in five queen-sized, air- conditioned cabins. The headroom is 6’9ʺ and all the beds are fitted with custom made memory foam mattress for the ultimate restful experience at sea. Each cabin has its own, private en- suite bathroom with a separate shower and soft, fresh towels. Outside, the sweeping deck, shaded flybridge, and cushioned sunbeds allow guests ample choice and space to relax and absorb the breathtaking 360° views while at anchor or sailing. When the winds are favorable, Seahome can be seen flying her striking spinnaker sail, with gennaker and jib sails providing picturesque sailing in alternate wind conditions. The cockpit at the aft of the boat features an expansive dining table that provides center stage for an array of delicious dining experiences on week-long, all-inclusive charters. Every trip is specifically tailored to the guests’ requirements and a unique menu is designed to accommodate the dietary needs of all individuals on board. The newly upgraded bar area is generously stocked, serving handcrafted cocktails daily and providing a space for creative guests to try their hand at mixology, whenever the inspiration strikes. The boat is fully equipped with snorkeling and scuba diving gear, an abundance of water toys, a brand new 70hp Yamaha powered AB tender, stand-up paddles boards, hammocks and more. A swim ladder with a hot and cold water shower on the aft transom makes getting in and out of the ocean a seamless pleasure. Seahome. Whether you are after an exuberant experience of fun outdoor activities, relaxing with your family and friends over some board games under the radiant Caribbean sun, or some quiet time in lesser populated locations - the Seahomies have over 20 years of combined experience and local knowledge in these areas to cater to your ultimate luxury yacht charter experience.

Captain Tyler Dunn

Captain Tyler will greet you with a warm smile and a twist of southern charm. From the mountains of Western North Carolina and recently residing outside Wilmington, he has been around people and water most of his life. Tyler grew up at Camp Merrie-Woode helping kids enjoy the many lakes and white water adventures that the mountains have to offer. His first taste of the ocean came at ten years old when he became scuba certified alongside his mom. This certification, along with a chartered family vacation to the Virgin Islands, led Tyler to pursue a career on and in the water. After graduating with a degree in Outdoor Experiential Education from Appalachian State University, Tyler accepted an internship at a dive shop in Key Largo, and from there he has never looked back.

Since then, he has lived in the Virgin Islands for 10 years and has chartered over 150 trips throughout the Carribean island chain. He has continued his education on the water and now holds credentials as a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, a 100 ton Master Captain and wears many hats while aboard. Not only can Tyler show guests a great time on the water but under the water as well! You will feel at ease while aboard with him as you visit the beautiful beaches and sunsets the Caribbean has to offer. “It is truly a unique vacation! It’s hard to put into words, but Hell, it changed my life. Let it change yours.” and as Tyler says around the docks, “we’re in the business of making memories baby! and business is good!”

Chef James Temple

James is 33 years old and was born and raised in the Sussex countryside of the United Kingdom. He has been a Chef for over 17 years and has travelled and worked in many countries around the world, including high-end restaurants in the UK; private residences in Portugal, Spain and London; ski chalets in the Alps; and of course on yachts all around the Caribbean, Mediterranean, United Kingdom, and even Dubai.

This broad range of experience has gained him a strong repertoire in many different types of cuisine and has received him excellent feedback from happy guests from all over the world, some of which include A-list celebrities, royalty, and international athletes. Although he enjoys every style of cooking, his favourites include fine dining and desserts.

When James isn’t busy cooking up a storm, he enjoys partaking in an array of activities, some of his favourites being snowboarding, kitesurfing, skateboarding, keeping fit, and trying different foods from around the world, especially in Michelin Starred restaurants.

Before recently joining Seahome, he has spent the past 3.5 years working on superyachts as Sole/Head Chef. During this time he also had the pleasure of meeting and working alongside Alexandra, which soon led to a happy and loving relationship between the pair, still going strong today. Together they make an unbeatable team, and never fail to deliver seamless and top-knotch service to their guests.

Alexandra Duggan

First Mate and Stewardess Alexandra, 21, was born in the mountains of Idaho, USA. She was raised in an adventurous family, and starting from a young age, has spent the majority of her life traveling and living abroad. She has visited over 40 countries in her lifetime and even spent several years of her childhood living on a sailing catamaran in Spain with her 3 sisters and parents. This is where she originally fell in love with the sea, developed a passion for sailing, and learned to speak Spanish. At 18 years old, after working and studying on land for a while, she dropped everything, and decided to join the yachting industry and keep travelling the world. On her very first yacht, she met James and fell in love with his cooking, and him of course, and has been traveling and working by his side ever since.

Having spent the past 3 years working on superyachts she was finally ready to get back to her sailing roots and jumped at the opportunity of joining the Seahome family with James.

Alexandra has a kind and easygoing personality, with a splash of charm and good humor, and always strives to deliver exceptional hospitality and strong connections with her guests. She has a fine eye for detail, and always ensures that those around her are well taken care of, with smiles on their faces and glasses never empty. She enjoys showing off her creativity in the form of decorative tablescapes, delicious cocktails, and in thoughtful treats.

Alexandra has a passion for life and enjoys a variety of activities in her spare time, including professional photography, snowboarding, yoga & fitness, rock climbing, scuba diving, and any other water/adventure sports she can get her hands on. She also comes from a musical background, and if given the opportunity, she might even entertain you and your guests with her beautiful singing and guitar on a calm night under the stars.
