Captain, Panos Zorzos
Captain Panos was born in 1969 in Athens, Greece, and graduated from Merchant Marine Academy in Hydra. Panos has many years of experience onboard numerous luxury charter yachts, to name a few: M/Y MAGIX, M/Y OXYZEN, and M/Y OURANOS as Captain. It is now his fourth year onboard M/Y Pathos with his team. Captain Panos has a very thorough experience of the Aegean & Ionian Sea and excellent knowledge of the Greek islands, with a lot of nautical miles (half of them in the Mediterranean Sea, mostly south France, Spain, and Italy). He speaks English and Greek and is married with one child. During his free time, he enjoys going to the cinema, hiking, football, and scuba diving.
Chief Engineer, Alexandros Karsanidis (Alex)
Chief engineer Alexandros was born in 1972 in Athens, Greece. He graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy in Athens. Alexandros began his career working onboard large tanker vessels, building experience, and knowledge. In 2001 he decided to make a career change and switch to the yachting industry; working onboard luxury charter & private yachts, where he remains till today! He had previously worked together with Captain Panos for 5 very successful years onboard two luxury yachts and is now once again working onboard M/Y Pathos during the past 3 years. He speaks fluent English and Greek. In his free time, Alexandros enjoys biking, scuba diving, and reading. He is married and has 2 children.
Chef, Fotis Koutantos
Fotis was born in 1973 in Athens, Greece. He has been working on M/Y Pathos since 2017. He holds diplomas in Cooking and Patisserie from “School of Tourism Professionals” in Anavyssos. Fotis started as a chef in some of the most well-known restaurants in Athens. In 2012 he started working on private and charter yachts whilst in the winter season working as a consulting chef in restaurants in Athens and the Greek islands. He uses his talent and knowledge of fish to create new dishes inspired by Greek and Asian cuisine. He is married and has three kids. He speaks fluent English and also communicates well in Italian. During his free time, he enjoys reading and creating new dishes.
Chief Stewardess, Athina
Athina was born in 1981 in Thessaloniki Greece. She studied Tourism Business Administration. She has attended seminars in fine dining, silver service, wine tasting, interior expertise, and yachting experience, developing excellent supervising skills throughout the interior department. She joined the luxury yachting industry fifteen years ago having worked previously on M/Y MIA RAMA & M/ Y OMEGA. She speaks English and Greek. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, construction, and wine pairing. She is married with three kids.
2nd Stewardess, Juliana Ybarola
Juliana was born in 1980 in the Philippines and has been living in Greece for the last 25 years. Julianna started her professional career within the hospitality sector, working in restaurants and hotels, where she developed excellent bartending skills, before sailing on boats. She has worked with Captain Panos for many years. Prior to joining the M/Y Pathos team, she worked onboard M/Y SHALLIMAR & M/Y OURANOS. She speaks fluent English, Filipino, and Greek. She is married and has two kids.
3rd Stewardess, Cyril Adupe
Cyril was born in 1984 in the Philippines and has been living in Greece for the last 17 years. She started her professional career within the tourism industry specializing in hospitality, and housekeeping. Her working experience includes working in five-star hotels and on luxury yachts. Cyril joined the luxury yachting industry eight years ago. She speaks fluent English, Filipino, and Greek. She is married and has two kids.
Bosun, Christos Kantzilidis
Christos was born in 1977 in Koln, Germany, and graduated from the Merchant Maritime Academy in Thessaloniki. After the completion of his studies, Christos started working in Marshall Ships for 5 years, he was then redirected into the yachting industry, where he has been successfully working for 14 years in private and charter motor yachts. Christos’ sailing experience has taken him all over the Mediterranean Sea. He is a qualified rescue diver as well as a keen drone pilot. Christos is happily married with two children and in his free time, he enjoys playing football as well as reading. Christos speaks Greek as well as English.
Deckhand, Antonis Dedes
Antonis was born in 1974 in Piraeus, Greece. He studied in the naval high school and served in the Greek navy. His family background is connected with the sea; many of his family members were sailors. He joined the luxury yachting industry 25 years ago, having previously worked onboard M/Y Panther & M/Y Alexandra. In his free time, he enjoys water toys, scuba diving, fishing, and camping. Antonis speaks fluent English and Greek. He is married and has one child.
Deckhand, Dimitris Pringas
Dimitris was born in 1987, in Athens. He is a mechanic and deckhand. After many years and a lot of experience as a car mechanic, he decided to make a career change and move into the luxury yachting industry where he has remained ever since. His passion for water sports and the sea, led him to the luxury yachting sector where he has been working for the last 7 years. Dimitris speaks fluent English and Greek. In his free time, he enjoys water toys and F1. He is single.
