Kirsty grew up in the UK sailing from a young age. Her father built her an Optimist dinghy when she was 8 years old and she never looked back. She gained her Yachtmaster Offshore ticket in 2001. These days she is based between Newport, RI and Bequia, St Vincent. She knows the coast from the Caribbean all the way up to Maine and loves exploring along the way. She has contacts far and wide and wherever you sail with her she is bound to know a face or two. She has run boats from 40ft to 80ft and has sailed over 80,000 miles, including 3 Atlantic crossings. She enjoys sharing her love of sailing with guests, she has instructor tickets from the American Sailing Association and many years experience of teaching kids to sail. You will find her sharing her knowledge and stories as you cruise with her. She has a relaxed and cheerful manner, while being meticulous about safety. This ensures that fun and adventure are the biggest takeaways of any trip with her.
