Captain Vangelis Patrikis
Born and raised in Greece. Anything on the water comes naturally to him, having grown up in Piraeus, Greece. Married, with two children. Captain Vangelis has thousands of nautical miles under his belt. He holds an A' Class Master Captain's License and has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Oinousses, located in Chios, Greece. Vangelis has started his long career at sea during his youth, on board large tankers and cargo ships. Vangelis has so many stories to tell from his travels around the world! He also holds a diploma of offshore sailing, of advanced medical and a life safety certificate. He was introduced to the yachting industry in 1996 when he started being the captain on various motor yachts and sailing vessels. He has been entertaining visitors for the past 20 years! He is the captain on Elvira, since the year of 2009. Captain Vangelis' passion is to ensure that each and every guest's need is catered to and all aboard the luxurious catamaran Elvira feel safe and secure while cruising through the beautiful Greek Archipelago. He has tremendous knowledge about each Greek island and loves to deliver his knowledge to his guests! He speaks English, basic Portuguese and Greek. Captain Vangelis is a well-traveled and versatile Captain, with a friendly and fun personality. Get prepared for a tailored and unique sailing experience aboard ELVIRA!

Cook/Hostess Iris Markozani
Iris was born In Athens in 1991. Her family comes from the island of Santorini and since she was a child she has been spending the summer months there. As a result, she developed a great love for the sea, and over the years participated in various water sports including sailing. Her interest and curiosity for food and taste led her to work in different restaurants based in Athens as well as the Greek islands. Aside from this, her ties to Santorini in combination with her love for the Mediterranean cuisine and wine, have allowed her to get involved in the food & wine pairing industry and collaborate win wineries across the island. During the last couple of years, Iris has been working on sailing boats and yachts, exploring beautiful, places, and getting to know new people whilst creating and sharing unique hosting experiences.

Deckhand Chris Patrikis
Chris is born in 1997 and is the perfect match for the Elvira Crew. Having sailed along with his father from a young age, he is well aware of the needs of a boat and her guests during a sailing trip. Aboard Elvira, he is also in charge of our water toys, ensuring you have a lot of fun with maximum security.
He has studied Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at the Agricultural University of Athens and has a Speedboat operator license and an offshore sailing diploma as well.
With excellent knowledge of the Greek islands, Chris takes pride in his work and is always more than happy to offer excellent service and meet the guests’ needs, provide solutions to every problem and welcome you with a big smile. Last but not least, Chris is fluent in English & greek and also speaks basic German.
