Christiana Kivirtziki - Captain

Christiana was born and raised in Athens. She is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos. Although she is young, she has worked both on commercial ships and charter yachts during her career. After logging many of nautical miles on deck and in the wheelhouse as Chief officer, she found her way onboard Shooting Star as a captain. She holds all the necessary certificates for lifesaving, first aid and fire fighting.

Akis Bimas - Chief Engineer

Akis was born in 1989 and graduated from Merchant Maritime Academy of Aspropyrgos in 2013 holding an Engineer Class B Certificate. Akis, during his career has worked onboard tanker ships and the last 3 years he moved to motor yachts. Akis is a skilled engineer and he will make sure that the yacht's engines always operate efficiently.

Panos Sarianoglou - Chef

Panos is 24 years old with a real passion for his job! Being a Chef for over 5 years now, he can successfully present fusion style meals not only of International cuisine but also amazing Greek dishes! He is very organised in his galley and he loves putiing his personal touch in the dishes that he prepares for the guests, combining quality and taste!

Sofia Markopoulou - Chief Stewardess

Sofia is a very energetic and passionate person. With attention to detail she manages all aspects of the yacht interior. Her organizational skills are exceptional and her service standards are really high. She is a friendly, supportive person and her first priority is to keep guests happy. In her free time, she likes playing tennis, bicycling and taekwondo. Her hobbies are cinema, theater and photography.

Efthimia Petala - Assistant Stewardess

Efthimia was born and raised in Ithaca island. She is 26 years old and has finished her studies on Physiotherapy school, but she decided to join the yachting industry due to his passion for the sea. Her organizational skills are exceptional and so are her service standards. A friendly and supportive individual, extremely well-mannered, always on a process of self-improvement, with perfection as her final destination.

Ioannis Zourdos - Deckhand

Following multiple successful seasons as a deckhand on luxury motor yachts Ioannis recently became a member of our skilled crew. He holds a speed boat operator license and loves watersports. He is a hard worker, discreet and efficient when it comes to our guests’ safety and security.
