Previous yachts: Blue Pearl, Liara, Green Dragon
Sail and work experience: Spent the 90s racing dinghies in Ireland, graduated to keel boats and into composite race boat construction. Worked on various high profile build projects from Mini Transats to Volvo Ocean Race. Over the past 12 years Superyachting has been the main source of income, beginning as Engineer on performance 30m new build in 2008 to Captain of the Wally Dark Shadow from 2012 to 2016 and now back again in 2020!
He speaks English, a little Italian and maybe a little less French. Over the last 25 years, he has clocked more than 100,000 nautical miles from the Irish sea to the Med and 8 Atlantic crossings as well as cruising the south Pacific sea around New Zealand.

Job description:
He is responsible for navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew and guests. He ensures the safe and efficient operation of the yacht at all times, in¬cluding compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. He takes care of adhering to flag regula¬tions, port state and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the vessel’s policies. He provides daily leadership for the crew and encourages team¬work, individual growth and personal attention by delegating duties and supervising all crew tasks.

Licenses & Certificates: RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore, Commercial Endorsement – GMDSS GOC (General Operator’s Certificate) – MCA AEC (Approved Engine Course) – STCW Training – STCW Proficiency in First Aid.
Education: St Andrews College, Dublin.
Hobbies: It’s obvious I enjoy the sea and sailing but also Windsurfing, Surfing and recently began Kitesurfing althuogh I already feel I could go Pro.
Music is an important part of my life also and I play guitar a lot these days as my drum kit is not so easy to travel with.

She speaks English. Philippa has sailed all her life, with strong seamanship skills and comes from a family that all sail, race yachts and high performacnce dinghies. Over the last 16 years, she has crossed the Atlantic more than twelve times, been through the Pannama Cannal to navigaited the Pacific, and raced in many international regattas around the world.

Job description:
Philippa has the expertise required to stand in for Captain in his absence, acting as second in command. She assists the Captain during navigation and participates in all on-deck operations, respecting guest’s activities. She has extensive knowledge of sailing yachts maintenance and is responsible for the running of deck equipment and machinery.

Licenses & Certificates: MCA MASTER 500GT CoC – STCW Training – GMDSS Radio Genral Operator Certificate – BSAC Sports Diver.

Sail and work experience: With 28 years in the luxury yachting industry, Anna has cheffed for all kinds of different people and is still as passionate as ever about food. She has always maintained the highest standard in presentation and the minister for the interior is happiest with guests on to keep her busy!
He speaks Italian, English, Spanish, French and a little German. Over the last 30 years, she has clocked more than 400,000 nautical miles with an impressive 33 transatlantic crossings.
Cruised Waters: Mediterranean Sea, Caribbean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Baltic Sea, USA East Coast, Pacific and Indian Oceans.
Job description:
is in charge of the galley and is responsible of guests and crew meals, assuring a rich variety of food. She estimates food needs, reviews inventory assuring adequate supplies are available, sticking to budget and guests’ expectations. She carries out food service activities in order to have meals prepared at scheduled times and makes sure to comply with health regulations. Thanks to her creativity, she develops new recipes and ways of serving food in order to satisfy different guests’ wishes.
