Captain: Ray Leskanic

Ray grew up boating on the Jersey Shore and Greenwood Lake, NJ. Since his youth he has always had a great passion for the water. After graduating Ramapo High School, he moved to West Palm Beach, FL where he attended Palm Beach Atlantic University. Upon graduating with a Major in Communications and a Minor in Marketing in 2005, Ray began his career in the yachting industry. As a Captain for over 14 years and with over 30 years boating experience, Ray holds a 500GT MASTER US Coast Guard license and is currently upgrading to his 1600gt. Ray has over 70,000 nautical miles logged, along with 2 Atlantic crossings. He’s cruised the waters from New England down through the Southern Caribbean and Europe. Ray’s biggest passion is the Bahamas. He has cruised the Bahamas extensively for the past 14 years and has a wealth of knowledge (family in Nassau) of the best anchorages and local treasures. Ray has previously run vessels from 80’-150’ including: LIBERTAS, UTOPIA III, ELIZABETH, SOLSTICE, ALICIA, JOPAJU, WILD KINGDOM & IMPETUOUS. Ray is now running this prestigious 108’ Custom Line M/Y COFINA. While on board M/Y COFINA Captain Ray’s main priorities are ensuring 100% guest satisfaction and safety to guests and crew. Captain Ray and his crew will ensure that each of their guests has an amazing time on board with a world-class service and action-packed itineraries!!!

First Officer: Alfonso Jesus

Alfonso grew up on the sportfishing and dive boats in his family’s charter business in one of the world’s best diving and sportfishing destinations- Cozumel Island. After graduating high school in Cozumel, he was hired as deckhand for a cargo and offshore oil services company in the Gulf of Mexico, where he sailed all over the world until earned his commercial captain license. In 2016, he made the switch from commercial vessels to luxury yachts. He has captained boats from a 31ft Bertram to a beautiful 82 ft Viking. He has worked on yachts from 65ft to 150 ft as mate where he used his varied boat experiences to succeed. Alfonso is now a mate on a 108ft Ferretti and oversees the yacht’s tender- a 37 Grady White- where he performs as captain. His greatest passions are fishing, diving, spearfishing, cruising on boats, and the occasional beach party.

Chef: Matt Arlington

Matt was born and raised in Northern New Jersey and graduated from Mahwah High School. He attended Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA and earned a degree in Marketing. After having worked in advertising in NYC, Matt adjusted his course and attended The Culinary Institute of America, as the culinary world had always been his true passion having worked in the industry throughout high school and college. After graduating, he worked in some of the best restaurants in NYC, eventually landing a job as Executive Chef at a highly rated tapas restaurant in Hoboken, NJ. Over the next decade, Matt’s career progressed, resulting in a position as Partner/Executive Chef of 3 establishments. The draw of yachting and working as a private chef always remained in his mind. After successfully navigating all establishments through the challenges of the pandemic, he decided to bet on himself and once again, followed his heart and passions to South Florida.

Having been a former collegiate wrestler, Chef Matt has a passion for fitness, yoga, and the great outdoors. He aspires to travel and take the opportunities to see all the beauty the world has to offer in the coming years.

Chief Stewardess: Camila Ramos

Camila was born and raised in Brazil. She graduated with a degree in Tourism and Hospitality in Santos, Brazil. Her interest in hospitality combined with her passion for being on the water and traveling brought her into a career in yachting. She has worked on boats around the world including Mexico, Europe, and America. Camila spent 2 months in India to become a certified as yoga instructor. Camila is always eager to assist you in every way and to ensure the best and memorable vacation possible.

I’m Addie and I’m 19 years old. I just recently joined the industry. I have been with Captain Ray and his lovely crew on M/Y COFINA since January and am very grateful for the opportunity! In my free time I like to visit the ocean and explore :)

Engineer: Ido Bareket

My name is Ido Bareket, I am from Israel, and I am a Yacht Engineer.

I gained my engineering skills during my army service at the Israeli Navy. I started as a mechanic in the patrol vessel and climbed my way up to the chief engineer position. After finishing my mandatory service, I decided to join yachts as an engineer. I appreciate the ability to travel while engineering, which I find very interesting and satisfying.
